The Y will come at the top growth tip. Root's Y is an old Y. Here is a relatively new Y. It will Y then each top half of the Y will make another Y and it keeps going, doubling the Y at first then quadrupling then double quadruples on up.

The Ys are noted on here and the red marks are showing tiny buds. The lowest multiple red dots shows the first flower that has already bloomed. They follow the peduncle and the calyx. Now tiny buds are forming on the new Ys that have formed.
