The only difference from this plant shown here and the one next to my neighbor's house is the color of the bloom. The color of the blooms on the plant, near my neighbor, are more 'orange' in appearance. My neighbor had given me a small branch off this bush and I decided to play around with it taking some photos.

I'm attaching a photo that I took of one of the little blooms that had fallen off the branch. I had placed the bloom on a piece of solid black foam board and angled a bit downwards at it. This little bloom has the same long stamens protruding from the center. I think my neighbor had said it was called "lady's slipper" but can't be certain. Next time I see him, I'll ask him again what he said it was called.
