SherryLike wrote: Gretchen, your blossom is wonderful, I love pink, any form or fashion?? I know exactly what you mean about the weather, it has been raining (monsoons!) for about three weeks. It finally quit last night late. So, my new garden, is not only water logged, there was a boggy low place, right on the first canal, that has kept some of the front plants under water, most all of the time it rains. Well, today was the day, no rain, kinda cool and the ground is still soft and I dug a canal around the muddy stuff and I'm going back to fill in even more. The old canal was were the decoy is. The storms knocked off several blossoms and buds, as well as branches. I potted everything I could. Now that I've dug the new bed line, I will put the blooming tree in a big pot, to give it some height and get it outta the low spot and so I will be able to move it if the sun is too much. I hope this is a before photo and that I'll have something special to photo when the project is complete. Any suggestions for plants, et al, will be sincerely appreciated. SherryLike |
