The cutting has developed some roots and has grown a couple new leaves. It does not look completely healthy, but the leaves look pretty good. Today I noticed these little round things along the middle spine of each of the leaves.

I am hoping that someone might know whether these are the eggs of some insect or maybe just sap from the plant itself? I wiped them off with rubbing alcohol after taking the picture. I will keep an eye on it to see if it comes back.
