I bought white kid umbrellas, butterfly and flower stickers and a pack of 6 colors of spray paint from Oriental Trading and made my first "decorative" sun umbrella. Ziptied it to a thin garden stake. I have 5 more to make and hopefully save a few more plants from the intense heat. Wish I'd had them earlier for my poor fuchsias!
And we have not gotten one drop of rain yet. The rain clouds go north and south of Katy. :(
