digger9083 wrote: No , linny is keeping Sally . Last March on our way back from Texas , I found a starved dog at a truck stop and brought him home with me . Named him Scoot . I started a thread on pet forum called How Inhumane and Cruel . I already had 4 little dogs that we travel with , including Rusty , the Westie I had gotten from Linny . Rusty was going to be a dog I was getting for my son , but that didn't work out so I kept him . The starving dog was so pathetic and sweet , only wanting a kind word and food that Vicky saw the pictures and knowing I couldn't keep him , she offered to give him a home . It really was a blessing because I would have to have taken him every weekend to Pet SMart with the humane society to try to get him adopted out . I couldn't spend that kind of time and no guarantee that a home would be found .I was between a rock and a hard place with him because I couldn't travel with five dogs and we were committed to spending a month in Colorado with another couple .I did find a girl here that was interested in him and took him home , but her cat was terrified of him so she brought him back . I had all his shots and neutered so that no one would have to be out that expense . We also had a guy from up Indiana (I think )offered to help with him but Vicky had already said she wanted him so we started working on a way to transport him to her . It works out that we will be going within 40 miles of her home . Go back and read that thread and you can see how truly thankful I am . To answer your question about what kind of dog is he , only God knows . He's white with black spots and uses his front feet like a boxer , bounces around like one but looks like there may be a little dalmatian in his coloring . |
