Those were the first blooms I had seen on "Witches Dance" and immediate;y liked it for its uniqueness. I have never had anything similar to it before. I know it was hybridized by Carlos & Nola Reynolds in FL and mine came from Tried & True Hibiscus. It was just registered as a new hibiscus in October 2010, so it has to be something fairly new.

This one is "Jolanda Gommer" opening this morning. It's typically very bright when first opening and then fades to more subtle colorful tones later in the day.
