My old-fashioned larkspur is really doing well right now, although a little soggy when I took this photo. Hurrah!! Wish there would have been more than one pink one, though. I've had these since my mother first gave me seed 30 years ago. I almost lost them a few years back because I mulched beds heavily during a drought and only a few germinated. After that I started saving seed. I'll have seed to share for planting in the fall. I planted these 10/14/2010 and they were about 10 inches tall during the icy storm.
