Birthday Annabelle goes to the Beauty Shop

My wonderful gift from Eunice Birthday Annabelle goes to the Beauty Shop ~
She is Spectacular don't you think !

First she came out of her pot and all soil came off and she had three large suckers remover and one tiny, and everyone had baths.
The 4 suckers were planted each in their own pots !
Here they are soon will be ready for adoption !

Leaves came off as the suckers were in-between everywhere. So I also have five leaf cups !

I took all spent bloom stalks off and ones that had more dead flowers than new.
She might be thinking where is Annabelle after her trip to the Beauty Shop and so much of a hair cut.

There are no other houseplant like African violets with the ability to bloom year round and progate so easy in order to share with Peeps all over the World !
Annabells after her visit to the beauty shop having her babies will now grow faster and more full and bloom three times more ! All year long !

Eunice do you have an Annabelle Yet ? I will have babies for adoption and if you don't have one your first on my list !

She looks gorgeous after her "cut & blow dry" LOL, and under your care I'm sure she'll have a stunning full crown of leaves in no time again to go with that full set of beautiful blooms!

Anybody taking their plants to the Spring Beauty shop ! Great time of the year for trans-planting and grooming. Setting leaves for Fall Secret swaps, trades and sharing !

When do you send out a baby? I have babies growing now but I don't want to send them out if they are not going to make it. So how long do you wait? What other things do you look for to know if they are going to make it?

Yes they are Bells ! You don't see bells often and not as nice as these. And these plants are heavy bloomers !

Well I know I promised two babies maybe three need to back track and see. lol those are sucker babies good size. Now I have many leaves down some have babies coming up but not expecting them to be large enough until Fall.
I like my babies to be a good size before I send them out. But I also don't like them to get too big which many times they have. Large ones are harder to pack.
If their too small they may not make it. Of course minis will always be smaller.
Send out ones the size you'd like to get. If a novie is sent out babies too small chance they may not live.
