I've got the Purple Queen, and recently got noid Red Cuttings from another DG'er, that rooted fine as well as blue, but the blue didn't take. I tried growing blue from seed, one came up...but is now just sorta sitting there, not growing. Here they need afternoon shade for sure in the summer. I've been experimenting with in ground as well as container growing. They should be hardy here, but the one I had in the ground has not come back yet. And Gordon is right...hungry thirsty little buggers !
