Well JB, when your palm seeds germinate, this is what they will look like. A wide piece of grass. Photo below.

The holding bed is totally tore up. I asked that they made sure they got all the roots out for the Black Bamboo and they dug a little deeper and ran into tree roots again from my neighbor's trees. Pine tree this time. The pines are great and provide great shade for the house. And then they discovered the irrigation line was blocked and we were moving the valve anyway so that is no big deal.

I got my manicure and pedicure done today. Stopped and got a 16 oz U-Swirl yogurt and came home. For some strange reason, if I do not get up and go to work at the garden first thing in the morning, I just waste the whole day. I did plant a few dug up plants today into pots but that is all I got accomplished. But tomorrow is suppose to be 70 and I am going to be busy all day. Friday I meet the landscape managers at 6am to go to the big greenhouses in the middle of the valley about 50 miles headed south. Will not be back until around 2pm.

I will take a photo tomorrow of my destroyed back landscape. BUT, when this is all done, my irrigation will work the way it is designed to do.

Jnette, we have Direct TV. Have had it since it first came out. We pay to much but Vern is a sports nut and has every sports package you can imagine. The only thing we do not have is NBA.

Have a great evening everyone.

Photo of palm seedling. Surrounded by baby tears which is a ground cover that loves the shade.
