So, we decided to have the cross vine that's growing over the fence next to the shed grow over it also. The theory is that the vine will grow over it, helping to protect it and definitely improve it's look.
So far I've set some bamboo poles between the fence and shed. Next I'll put more poles on the other side and tie them over the top. Then lay plastic fencing over the poles and lay the vine over that. It should grow over the top in a few years. I hope it works!
