Rose, it's amazing to watch the salmon! When they reach that "dry" spot near the top of the falls, they will flop around until they are able to drop back down to a pool below. We had heavy rain last night, so I will go back up and see if that area has water now. There was about 6' of dry area, but they had worked up about 30' to get there, and with several turns.
