Jeanne, the Bayer Tree and Shrub Insect Control is the same active ingredient as Merit, imidacloprid. HD and Lowes sells it. I love it! Only one that ever got rid of scale on my oleanders and it has killed aphids in just a day for me! No spraying, just water it in. One application works up to a year in the plant. I wonder if there is any difference between the 2?

Abbethel, I have only Charles Grimaldi, but as I understand it, Dr. Seuss has leaves that are serrated and CG has smooth edged ones except on new sprouts. Other than that, I do not know. My CG flowers continuously. It was the only brug that flowered all winter! Sparsely, but did have a few. In the summer it is profuse in it flowering!
