Definately. After the freeze I was devastated. Everything was brown. All of the banana trees had to be cut to the ground. The EE, gingers, all of the plants on the side.....gone.......it was horrible. I tried to be strong but finally gave in and cried!
My yard crew came in and spent over three hours hauling dead plants out to the front.

My youngest Granddaughter asked if I was going to replace all of the banana trees, and I said, "No......." It would have cost too much to repurchase them.
Little by little new sprouts started showing up......and now look at them, they are taller than the six ft fence! Praise the Lord! I thank Him all the time for the banana trees. They are so beautiful! I'm relatively easy to please.......doesn't take diamonds or a lot of money.......just make my back yard look like Oahu and I'm delighted! haha!

I even went to the dollar store and bought some artificial orchids for the patio and hut. It adds alot of color and won't die!

My philosophy is "Where there is a will, there is a way!"
