Just loaded up my seed starter with Swiss Chard and Flowering Kale. And it's been about a week since I sowed my Pole Beans into the garden (my first planting in the new garden). Already seeing sprouts popping up. Just hope these 105+ degree days don't fry them before they can take hold.

Waiting for cooler temps before I sow my beets, spinach, and other greens as I hear the seeds do better directly in the ground as opposed to transplanting.

Bought 3 half whiskey barrel sized planters for my dwarf blueberries, which I bought in early Spring. They've really taken off so I'm moving them to permanent homes.

And also looking for in-ground spots for my 2 Black Currant plants which, after acquiring them earlier this year, are doing nicely.

And finally, I have 5-6 Earthboxes to start cleaning out. Now that I have good sized ground garden spot, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them going forward.

Anyone else braving the heat and trying to get started for Fall?
