I had the same leaf problem you do, which then turned to an entire burnt orange leaf, then DEAD! I had it in a huge pot first of all, so I bought one 1/2 the size. (I tend to over pot, but not anymore) I took the plant out of the pot, shook off the dirt, then hosed off the root ball until clean. It seemed a bit rash at the time, but what did I have to loose. It was dying. I then re-potted it in a nice Foxfarm Ocean potting mix (organic) doesn't contain a ton of fertilizer like miracle grow or scott's does. A couple weeks later, after cutting bad leaves off at the base, I had new shiny green growth, and for the first time ever, a flower! I will post the sequence of photos from asking for help like you are, to what I have now. This only took about a month for it to recover. Good luck! |
