The cannas are about two years away from gifting except the Tropicana's. I have a few hundred of them. I was amazed, this last week I was at a nursery and they were charging $30 for three stalks of the Tropicana in a gallon pot and they were weak plants.

When I cut them back, just let me know. But these are big plants, even minus the leaves and dirt they will have weight. Or maybe you could all come to Vegas on a Junket and take back your plants. I bet there is a trucking company that delivers cheaply because during the early winter, no problem coming from Nevada. POhoto is Tropicana Canna.
