This bug is about ⅛ inch or slightly larger in size and when I shake the tomato plant it will fly off and immediately back on. I only see about half a dozen of these bugs at a time. The picture at the URL you sent definitely looks close enough to the one in my picture.. Thank you for the ID. At least it gives me something to work with to find out if this bug might be a problem on my plants. It is difficult enough to take a picture of a bug this small on a leaf that is blowing in the wind, but I can imagine that the job of cataloging all of the bugs and their traits must be an almost insurmountable task. Do you think the Cooperative Extension is going to be able to tell me anything from this picture of mine?
