(Although it does fruit after all, and every year we check to see, "can we eat them yet?" LOL!) It's not exactly what I'm looking for for this particular spot. But I just love, love, love the one I have. They're so beautiful, and if that wasn't enough by itself, my hummers adore it too. Here is a photo of the spot where I need a new tree. It's several years old, and doesn't begin to show how much the pear had encroached on the sweetgum and the house. But hopefully it'll give you an idea where we need a new tree. |
