billyporter wrote: HollyAnn, Ric, that was great! You did a good job in showing how it came along. That was a lot of hard work, but it's beautiful! LadyG, it's been so busy here. I was waiting for someone to ''trip'' the thread since I seem to only have time for a few before needing to get up and get busy. The boys are sleeping on their new Coleman cots we picked up the other day. It's so much easier than dealing with the air mattress. And thesr are nice, with springs and a pad. We opened one and lay down on it in the aisle before we bought them. Very comfy for that amount of time. LOL! Yesterday we had My Dad over for his 81st B'day. It's really today, but with SIL's work schedule and Grandsons ball practice, it worked out this way. It was a gorgeous day with few bugs and a nice breeze. I made brownies and lemon bars instead of the usual cakes. We also had ice cream and hot dogs. Dad's cousin's wife was turning 80, so he rode into her open house party with his older brother and sister last night. I worked on weeding the North Peony bed and just about got it finished. I put Preen down but we didn't get any rain to wet it. North of us, seven miles away, they got 3''. We watered :o( One Grandchild is awake and the other will follow soon. I better finish up. LadyG, I hope you are feeling ok and taking it easy. We're having beautiful weather this week, for a change. Isn't it funny, I found another turtle, and a bunny! |
