Also got a Sungold cherry tomato.Had one last year and they were very tasty. On the way home decided to stop in at Greengate Garden Centre nearby. I dont start buying plants until next week but figured I might as well see what they had in. They have changed the line up of the shelving units that hold the plants and it is horrible, some going one way some the other instead of just being able to go up one and down the other ... Anyway I spotted a neat fountain but it was a touch expensive. Went to the front to ask if my hort society discount applied, chatting with the owner. She said Carol you might do better wth the scratch and save card ( I didnt pick one up) biggest discount 25%! So I decided to take a chance and guess what- got the25% discount - which was $100 off! So the staff loaded the thing in the back seat of my car where it still resides because it is concrete and so heavy I cant pick it up! But got the site already for it and figured out the interior workings - I think! It is in the shape of a giant mushroom with a big leaf on top and 3 little frogs, one of which is a spitter. Water also comes up thru the middle and there is a light. Then a friend came over to install two new ceiling lights for me, one in the kitchen the other in the TV room replacing lights I put in 15 and 20 years ago. Just needed a change. Bought the lights over a year ago and never got around to getting them installed! The kitchen is a Canadian Tire Tiffany. |
