bbode wrote: The Annona or custard apple tree I have is decades old and was never really cared for. It fell down and suckers sprouted. Years passed, I bought the house and land. We recently cut down all but one of the tree sized suckers growing out of the fallen tree stump. Around midnight last night as I was hunting leaf-cutter ants, I looked up and YUCKO! Little fat orange and yellow wormlike things were growing under the skin of the leaves and on the stalk of a new sucker. What are they? Where did they come from? What should I do about them? They are in a raised patch along with sanseveria, huge Cannas, 3 red Gingers and about 6 cherimoyas that are around 3 feet tall. We need advice, direction and help! Many thanks. |
