Don't know much about feeding--I would think sticking to some kind of sea weed or kelp would be best.... I learned a lot about this plant when I went to PF and scrolled down and read all the comments section. That is where the best info comes from. IF yours ever makes seed--you can sell each seed for a lot of money. Here is mine when I got it in in Spring of 2008. VERY, VERY rootbound and blooming away.
