Hello!
Last year, I bought a pretty hanging basket with small green leaves and bright yellow flowers, with only "10-inch Plant" as identification. I asked what it was, and it was identified as single-flowered portulaca or purslane.
Please see this thread:

It must have died over the winter, and I haven't seen any for sale yet locally.
I know that this is considered a trash plant or weed in most areas, but I really liked the look of this plant and would like to plant some around the bases of some small trees that I have in large planter boxes.
Does anyone have any of this that they could possibly send? I would be more than glad to cover the cost of postage, packaging materials, etc. I don't know if I have very much to trade right now, but should have in a couple of weeks. Thank you!
Jean
Wanted: Portulaca oleracea (Common Purslane) Yellow
Jean,
Don't throw it away. I leave mine out year round and they always come back up from the seeds.

Jean, I have plenty of this growing. Some of my yellows also have some reddish orange in the bloom as well. Please check you email.

Tortoise, I didn't throw it away....I can't even find the basket! Perhaps it is growing somewhere in the yard, as yet unnoticed. I'll keep looking.
MollyMc, I'll be on the lookout for your email. Thanks!
