This Burkwood viburnum is every bit of 15' tall, and I think that opening is right at about 6' high. I haven't been by to photo that shrub for a couple years. I'll see if I can't get over there this weekend, and get some fresh shots.

Burkwood viburnum responds just fine to pruning. Just time your pruning for right after the spring bloom season, so that you don't remove the flower buds. Winter pruning is not a good choice.

Semi-evergreen means just what you think. The Burkwood viburnum retains quite a few of its leaves through the winter months here in zone 5b/6a. Where you are, it might just approach being evergreen.

There are viburnums for every occasion - and then some. Enjoy the journey, and remember: you can never have too many viburnums.
