April 8th blooms

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Hey all, I've finally got a few to post today! And at least half of my plants have buds now, so hopefully it will be beautiful again at my house very soon :-)

Here's a Key Largo that I was surprised to find this morning.

And this is the first Bluebird bloom I've had in a long time - it was a little shy on the opening this morning though ;-)

Woops, I just noticed that Barry's thread was already called April 8th - doh!! Sorry, next time I'll look with TWO eyes open, lol ;-)

Well, technically he called his 4/8 and yours is April 8th, so that's different right? LOL

I really like Key Largo, now I'm trying to figure out why I've never ordered it!

I've got some pics from the last couple weeks including a first time bloom today from Night Runner which I just got from Robert, I'll need to find time to get them off of my camera!

I'll be anxious to see your Night Runner - it's such a beautiful bloom!! Key Largo is a real cool bloom too, and the colors change a bit seasonably. Blooms quite often too :-) I got it from HVH a year or so ago and I think they have it in stock ;-)

Robert always sends such beautiful and well-packaged plants, I bet they're all full of blooms already.

BTW, I bet your plants from Matt will be arriving soon. I got an email from him tonight saying mine are on the way, so I imagine he's working on California...

Karen,
Sooooooooo glad to see you posting again. Now I can really rest my camera eyes, and finish setting up my micro sprinkler system :)
Moonlight Madness and Bluebird are beautiful!

Thanks Cat! It's good to finally have some blooms to share! I do like Bluebird, but it was cold down here today and she never fully opened. Moonlight Madness produces such a large bloom, and so often too :-)

Karen it's great to see you back. Beautiful pics!!! I got your D-mail and have been so busy not had the time to reply but I will!!! I am happy you are home!!!

Take care and I'll talk to you later,
Robert

Here are some of my blooms from the last week or two (my hibbies haven't been too prolific lately!)

First up is my brand new Night Runner, fresh off the truck from Robert! I know I already have a million favorites, but this one has got to be close to the top for me, I just love the colors!

Wow, your Night Runner is just stunning! I can hardly wait until mine starts blooming again :-)

And, Blue Flags - I'm not sure I've seen that bloom before, but it sure is pretty!

Hi Liz,
All Very Pretty! On Night Runner The bush is rather wirey or sprawling but manageable. Well worth the blooms!
