When i bring this inside for the Winter--several leaved will fall off of it. That is a given!
I just trim the stems back to about 3" and stick them in water to root. takes a long time--but they do.
You can also root big sections of this plant right into soil. I have 3 going right now--but they are in 8" pots.

If you take a really, really big leaf--you can slit through the large veins and put the leaf on top of some soil and they "should" root where all the cuts are and grow new plantlets. Salad bar containers work great for this. Just melt some holes in the lid for ventilation.
