I had to find a better way to cut them..aside from drilling.. they were all too much work... got a new way now...
I use the metal utility knife... and hold the blade in the flame on the range.. then I trace lightly where I wish to cut... and then reheat... and trace again... in short order it has drifted into the ornament.. and I'm running around the area to be removed.. tracing and heating... and it's through effortlessly.. although it is a bit smokey.. the melting plastic and all... it doesn't have to be super hot.. I did the more intricate cut outs on this new one in that manner.. following the glitter lines.
