Here's a shot of my newly developing shade garden around the old sand box that was left by the last family years ago. A future project will be to close up the open areas around the perimeter, fill it with good soil and have a raised shade bed to disguise our back neighbor's ugly fence. Check out the size of the tree in their back yard!

Except for the banana tree that we planted there last year, most of the other plants were picked out and given to me by my son, Mike.
