Since we were moving many of my conifers were going to be torn down in order to tear the old trailer down and put a new one in. Many of them were young but old enough to have a nice trunk circumference and Nebari on them, so I made a lot of trunk chops on a lot of trees. Boy that was hard, but now I have many different tree's. Several Western Hemlock, Japanese maples, some Azalea's. I have yet to put any in Bonsai pots, but some will be ready this spring. I've only killed on so far, a cute little mame spruce who didn't take kindly to have it's roots trimmed, I think it was too late in the summer. Here is one of them, an Thuja plicta, a Western Yellow Cedar. It has just gotten a huge prunning. |
