It seemed life had no person to back me up anymore. Well to answer all your questions. I think a June, 2nd or 3rd weekend would be the best. So June 11-13th, or June 18-20th. Of course everyone would be welcome to stay as long as they wanted to visit Montana. You are right we have great shops in Whitefish, Bigfork, and Kalispell for shopping. We have both untracked motocross and road bike rides. We have a boat to go out on the Lake fishing, I have access to Sailboats to go out and race on the friday night or cruise on anyother day. We have two gardens to visit, several nurseries Wild Geese Gardens,Swan River Gardens,Columbia Nursery, Plantland, Hoopers (on internet), and Delanies in Polson, with a small rather wonderful one along the lake called Grouse Springs Nursery which is a place of a friend of Dan Hinkley's who has some exotic plants. She is quite knowledgeable and is interesting to talk to. Glacier Park, North Flathead river valley, Mountain Lakes, and lots of river hikes, canoe trips on the flathead river. Actually three Playhouses, Symphony concerts, Hot Springs with live music. There is a "Testicle Festival" and street dance around that time of year in Somers. And many many more things going on. I will plan a 'hay ride' into the mountains behind the house as an evening ride. I hook up a trailer to the truck and pull it filled with straw. Start talking about it and I will start a thread to focus just on that. Go here. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1042646/ This message was edited Sep 27, 2009 10:37 PM |
