I was at that ladies house probably 20 yrs ago and have never forgotten how I fell in love with the burgandy leaf Crinum. I was just getting into flowers then and I thought 30 dollars was too much for 1 plant. We went to another nursery up that way and a guy had burgandy Bromiliads. I bought a pot with 2 big ones for 20 dollars. I was so proud of it. I got home put it in the shade and went out the next day and my doxie "Linky" chewed them to pieces. They never did recover. :o(
