In the late Fall--they turn a light maroon and later just all dry up and fall down. That is how they all spread. This Fall (soon) I have promised myself to cut all the seed heads off as they went all in mt beds and everywhere--and have been growing all summer. I have pulled up many--potted them and given them away. They come up easy--have a nice tap-root already. Here they are already in the dried state. |
