Allison, that sure does look like Cuban Oregano. I have been growing it for years from the same cutting. Just bring it indoors (or start fall cuttings) for the winter! You can use it just like regular oregano; dried or fresh. It seems weird, but its taste is right on. It roots readily, and I have even just dropped branches of it on the ground which have grown. I like it in a hanging basket, as it can get really lanky.
