I have French lavender which is pretty in flower & a nice grey green foliage.
it is a really old bush & I got too carried away pruning it so it looks like a sadly twisted standard now.
I had to tie it to the terrace railing to keep it from falling over since it is a bit top heavy.
If I didn't like it so much I would rip it out.
I could fit another rose or real lavender in the space it takes up.
It did look nice with a stray poppy growing up through it & the roses & allyssum...
