Wickerparker, one Oriental lily that stays reliably short is Mona Lisa topping out at 2-2.5 ft. Even though it is in afternoon shade here and the lilies around it grow taller and stretch for more light, it stays short.

Well it was so hot the PNWLS canceled the July event which was to have been at Mak's, according to their web site. Even at just 20 miles from me I wouldn't have gone in that heat. It has cooled to 90 today, feels pretty good! I even turned the AC off.

Here is the only bloom of Mambo that opened before the heat hit.
