I have bought "late" bulbs before but most of them didn't make it. Don't know if it was overwatering, or what. This year I decided to follow lilifan's tip about lining pot w/ aluminum foil. I was also skimpy w/ water and they are looking fabulous. I think this works and certainly something I will do in future years when I get "late" bulbs.

I'm enjoying everybody's pics. Mags, I'm so impressed with your seedlings. I'm still learning what works in my garden but look forward to playing w/ seeds in the future.

edited to add: hmmmm. I hope these are lollipops. I was about to add my pic to the PF and started thinking mine don't have that distinctive pink tips as the ones in the PF. what do you think?
