Just a hopeful notice for anyone who needs a garden helper. This is Dennis a Jack Russell terrier who I have befriended in Valdez AK. He has had a tough 8 year life with an owner who chose to tie him to a post for 8 years rather than teach him the love relationship that can exist with a human. I have hiked with him every day I am there and he is loving and quiet. He has learned through me that people are friends and though not house broken he follows me everywhere I take him. We have hiked in trails where he stays with me closely and looks to see if I am near if he gets ahead. He is leash trained and after a few minutes relaxes to a quiet pace. He loves water, mud, flowers, chasing rodents in the mountains, seagulls on the beach, I have never seen him dig after Piekas (sp), his smile is enchanting when I show up. He is currently in an animal shelter and the long cage time gets to him. The pictures you see are moments of his joy with me in the AK wilderness. I have 2 dogs and a wife who lost her favorite cat to my last dog I brought home so I cannot take him. I will split the cost and bring him to Seattle airport if anyone wants his joy. This boy is full of laughter and love. Consider him. Steve
