Bird Watching: vacated Quail nest, 1 by xuling

But yesterday I peeked and they had hatched and left for parts unknown. I haven't seen the parents or babies in my yard for several days (I haven't seen the babies at all, actually). When I first saw the eggs there were 6 of them, but this nest looks like there are more than 6 eggs (in pieces).
