If it's white in the landscape you're looking for, you might want to try something that is more reliable and long blooming than the tulips. (Not trying to change your mind, just offering alternatives.) This year I had white allysum and white petunias and they were in full bloom for a long time. Their peak was the entire month of March and into April. They started fading in the heat of May. Here's a pic of that combo. You could also add tulips of white daffodils to this combo.
