JB I know how u feel, no one likes to listen to me talk about gardening or anything close to it.. *sigh* I have tomatoes already, sweetpeas are going to be delightful they are loaded, greenbeans are doing great potatoes and carrots are full of top growth, wisteria is going crazy in its third year, my loniceras are vining they made it thru winter, ( john clayton) and the dahlias came back from last year and the year before ( border dahlia) I am so happy it is spring, wish I didn't have to work, DH is on furlough for a week, hope that doesn't happen too much.. son did lose his job, daughter hates her job sheese! and people wonder why I am in the back yard all the minutes I can be, put out the hummer feeders tonight, found a bloom yesterday on my great aunt effies orchid iriss' I have been waiting for them to bloom for almost 5 years now ,, Raikou JMG had a surprise for me yesterday as well, big nonia tangerine is loaded up, Iochroma is in flush again, day lily stella is fully loaded, waiting for the oreintal star gazers to get budding, they have multiplied over the winter, peruvian daffodil has buds alliums have buds, crinium is budding, lobelia blue trailing is so pretty mixed in with the red begonias, all my JMGS are up and vining, sweet peas hybrids are up and going, *sigh* Paula is hoome recovering from a "almost heart attack>" and Pauline is in a nursing home supposedly being rehabbed, but that isn't working she hasn't gotten out of bed there once , *duh.. she is terminal what the crap>?* so she is coming back home Saturday coming , ...will be helping Paula when that happens ( again) went to sons yeaterday for an hour or two planted some more veges and some brug seeds and beach gloy seeds and mexican petunia down at the beach area and DD#2 and GS were fishing with Uncle Charlie, they caught some fish so went home and waited for them to bring it over , cooked some wild duck in the crock pot for 24 hours in wine sauce and then fried up the catfish and grilled some brats.. nice end to a weekend.. here is rose queen salvia in a new barrell with the peruvian daffodil.. ( and a hundred other things_ )
