Imagine my surprise when this one came back after 3 months of being 'dead'. From the pot I knew it was one that I'd raised from seeds several years back, but the tag had faded being stacked in the sun. I had put all the seedlings that year in the same type pot that I got on sale. It's a small bloom. The tendrils aren't anything to write home about. One of a million okay, but not special flowers. 10 years ago we might have killed for it, but there are so many nicer ones now. It stayed on the patio since it bounced back, and it's been pretty low maintenance, It'll probably go bye-bye when they enact our new water conservation program. so I'm enjoying these last blooms before that happens. |
