I don't really think it's a climber, what's planted left to right is:

Louise Odier (because I couldn't resist that Bourbon fragrance,) Weeping China Doll, Brilliant Pink Iceberg, Weeping China Doll, and another Louise Odier.

I had already picked out all of my rose purchases at Chamblees and was hauling them to checkout when I passed by Brilliant Pink Iceberg and couldn't resist it. Once I got it home, didn't really have a good place to put it, so stuck it in the middle of the gates (left over from a remodeling project at the office.) Once this flush is over, it's mostly BPI that blooms, and it blooms all summer. It has canes 8' high, so a probably good thing I didn't put it anywhere else. Knock on wood, I haven't had any trouble with black spot even though this is so close to the wall. Had aphids for the first time this year, but used Bayer on it and they're history.

I was a little reluctant to plant roses on the patio, because we use it a lot, and you can see it from our breakfast room, but the only time it looks a little unattractive is after Christmas until Mid-March, and since we're accountants, we're never home then before dark anyway!

Here's Brilliant Pink Iceberg
