Hi, please don't get me wrong i love my AV to be blooming like this. But I am curious of how many times will an AV bloom in a year. I rescued mine last summer from a sale rack, changed the pot and soil and placed it by a windowsil at work. But boy this plant has not stopped blooming, last November it started to bloom; the last flowers wilted in January. Then in February it started again, now about all the flowers started wilting, and there are buds already coming from the inner leaves.
Is this normal behavior? Also it is on a South facing window.
How many times will my AV bloom?
I'm fairly new to AV's in the last year but I have had the same experience with several of mine so it must be normal if the AV's are happy and in a good spot! Now lets see if the experts come along and tell us the same. ^_^
