Beginner Gardening: Help me safe 28 years old, Granadillo Tree(Bridalveil)!HELP, 1 by imacaro

It grows in a small garden in front of our apartment building and some of the neighbours want to destroy it because it might, in the future, damage the stone wall near to it. Anybody knows if these trees can be transplanted from one place to another? Please, any idea or suggestion which helps to find the solution in order to safe this glorious being would be grately appreciated!
