Here's another shot of the NA native Eastern red columbine (Aquilegia canadensis). These are growing in the front yard near the tulips (broad foliage in lower left is Lycoris squamigera). I didn't intentionally plant them here - they just appeared and spread. A very hardy plant and an early-season favorite of the hummingbirds when they appear for the spring. (I am eagerly looking forward to their arrival :-)
