Moss found in the forest.

We went on a nature walk last Saturday and found these beautiful patches of moss in the forest clearing.
I thought they were quite unique for this area of Texas.
A lovely covered rock.

Good shots Josephine--ya'll had more rainfall up that way this year, right? I know you still need more, but it was better this year than the last 5 have been, right?

Yes, we have had more rain, but not as of late, I was very surprised to see the moss, had never seen that around here. I was really pretty.
