The 3-4 inch tendrils seem to extend out forever from the medium sized powdery smelling bloom. The downside to Jewel is that she is a VERY slow grower. Here in Fort Lauderdale (land of the giant brugs) she has remained a very compact plant. The plant here in the picture is almost 3 years old. This is her first flush and she has quite a few buds coming in behind this one. This is a pod sister to Fleming Island Rachel. The cross is Kleine Lady x Everlasting Ruby by German hybridizer Ludger Schneider and grown here in the states by John Scott. This one, like Rachel was just recently released by the seedling parent. |
