It is raining hard again, but when I went out to see what was up during a lull, I was surprised to find the crocus and reticulated iris holding up fine. I have a new one out today too, Iris reticulata 'Marquerite'. Very sweet blue and white one that I got on sale from Brent and Becky last year. It was a pricey one. Another early narcissus is about to pop. It has an interesting stovepipe form, N. 'Small Talk' from the same B&B sale @ 10 for 4.00. Best of all today, I finally figured out that a loved patch of crocus is C. 'Blue Pearl' which I thought hadn't come up for the last two years. duh! And the other shot is of Iris reticulata 'Purple Gem' standing up to the deluge. Patti
